Multiple Teams · Mustangs Outlast Hawks in Thriller

Alberto Coria kicked the winning 27-yard field goal with only 3 ticks remaining on the clock, to give the Rancho Verde Mustangs a thrilling 37-24 victory over the Citrus Hill Hawks.  The back-and-forth game saw RV quarterback Sheriron Jones orchestrate the game winning drive with exactly two minutes left on the game clock, and no time outs remaining.  The Florida commit completed 15 of 27 passes for 246 yards and 5 TD passes for the game,  while rushing for 142 yards on 12 carries.  Senior receiver, Cedric Peterson hauled in 6 catches for 142 and 2 touchdowns for the Mustangs as well.
