Freshman Raymond Franco started off the fall season as the fastest Mustang for RVHS Cross Country, and hasn’t looked back since.  At the first invite of the season (Cal Poly Pomona), Franco posted a 16:37 for the 3 mile course, good enough for the fastest time by any freshman that day (and 3rd place in the freshmen / sophomore combined division).  In fact, Franco has posted the fastest time for a freshman at 5 different meets this year, as well as posting the 3rd fastest time for a freshman at the nationally recognized Woodbridge Invite.  More recently, at the 2nd Inland Valley League Meet, Ray ran a 16:07, good enough for 6th place in the varsity race (and again the fastest time for any 9th grader).  Congrats to Ray Franco and Coach Winter on a great season so far.  Keep it up!
